  • What connections does the AAS have with India?
    1. Dr Vijith Unni Sasidhar from Kerala is one of our main teachers.
    2. We guarantee regular teachings from Indian doctors both by video and regular study trips.
    3. Our curriculum is currently being worked on in tight cooperation with several Indian doctors, well versed in classical texts. 
  • Why does the AAS call itself THE international ayurveda training of The Netherlands?
    The Academy of Ayurvedic Studies is proud of its wide network of internationally renowned names in the field of Ayurveda and Yoga. In the past years the AAS had as guest speakers several superb teachers (and authors) in the field, such as Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. David Frawley, Dr. Robert Svoboda, Dr. Claudia Welch, Mukunda Stiles, Dr. Sunil Joshi, and others. The AAS is working together – for its regular curriculum – with a team of teachers, several of them from India as well as other countries. The AAS cooperates with several other leading international Ayurveda schools and professional organisations, in order to guarantee high quality education and good communication as well as development. Apart from that the AAS regularly organizes study trips to India, be it for internships or to visit international Ayurveda conferences or symposia.
