The AAS offers the following courses - all part of the Ayurvedic Massage Track:
- Ayurvedic Massage Intro Module
- Ayurvedic Massage Module 1
- Ayurvedic Massage Module 2
- Ayurvedic Marma & Marma Channel Module
- Ayurvedic AyurWellness Module - optional, only in Dutch at this moment)

Massage training
The introductory module on Ayurvedic Massage is the perfect way to learn the basics of Ayurvedic Abhyanga for yourself, your family and your friends. This module will go into some theory as to why oil application is extremely important according to Ayurveda. Also it will introduce the basics of Vata, Pitta and Kapha in relation to Abhyanga, oil application. The three days will consist of simple hands on instructions and extensive time to practice, with immediate correction where necessary. Some attention will go to simple methods on how to manage your Prana, as this is the ultimate secret for a good ayurvedic massage capacity, regardless of which specific technique.
The Ayurvedic Massage module 1 will deepen the basics of Vata, Pitta and Kapha in relation to Abhyanga, and related massage techniques. This module will consist of extensive instructions and even more extensive time to practice, with immediate correction where necessary, on all facets related to ayurvedic massage of body, hands, feet, face and head. Much attention will go to simple and advance methods on how to manage your Prana, as this is the ultimate secret for a good ayurvedic massage capacity, regardless of which specific technique. Learning these techniques in this Module 1 will enable you to give simple but thorough ayurvedic massages to clients. In case you want to deepend your examination and all roudn ayurvedic skills, it will be good to also learn more about nutrition, lifestyle and prevention.
The Ayurvedic Massage Module 2 will build on Module 1, with review and deepening the therapeutic aspects of massage for the three doshas, as well as specific and advanced techniques and treatment modalities. Some advanced oleation techniques will be discussed, explained and practiced. But also other techniques like dry powder massage will be part of the curriculum of this module. In this module there will be renewed and deepening exercises for working with Prana, both for your own benefit as well as for the client.
The advanced Marma and Marma Channel Massage Module will teach you the basic instructions on what Marma and Marma Channels are, from which specific traditions they stem, and how to work with them safely and responsibly in a therapeutic way. Marma partly belongs to a secret tradition. In this course the point of focus are techniques to specifically work with Marma Channels and ways to massage these channels to unblock stuck energies in these channels.

If you do this full Ayurvedic Massage Training, you can supplement this track with another 270 Ayurveda contact hours from other tracks plus MBK, in order to get a B-registration for the ANVAG (Netherlands only).
